Welcome to our Business Plan Basic Seminar, where we empower entrepreneurs like you to embark on a successful entrepreneurial journey. Our 6 ECTS program integrates agile working methodologies and customer-centric approaches to guide you through every step of building a robust business plan. As the Business Plan Basic Seminar is conducted completely online, you can take part wherever you are currently located (teamwork can be done on-site if the team wishes).

You can only apply for the Business Plan Basic Seminar as a team of 3-4 people (2 people are okay, but it is a lot of work for each)! Please be aware that this is an intense seminar which is conducted completely online (teamwork can be done on-site).

Before you apply, please check the dates! You find the BPG guideline linked below (incl. calendar subscription options). The Business Plan Basic Seminar needs your full commitment and continuous engagement to give you the best entrepreneurial results.

STEP 1: APPLICATION AS A TEAM September 2 through October 16, 2024 (prolonged deadline)

  • after checking the course dates in the BPG guideline linked below, click on the application link and fill out the application form
  • please note that only the team lead is allowed to hand in an application and you can only apply once per team
  • if you do not have a team yet, join our slack workspace and in there join the #bpg24_team_fomation channel to team up with other students

STEP 2: ANNOUNCEMENT OF ACCEPTED TEAMS October 17, 2024

  • we consider every application equally, and select based on your team size (3-4 people, 2 people are okay), your business idea or business problem description and your motivation for the seminar
  • if we then still have more applicants than seats, for fairness reason we will select teams randomly
  • all selected teams will be announced and informed on October 17, 2024

STEP 3: CONFIRMATION OF YOUR SEAT October 17 through October 22, 2024

  • every team member will need to confirm their seat until and including October 22, otherwise it will be given to teams on the waiting list
  • the confirmation link will be send to you in the acceptance email along with our decision

  • Yes, it is! No matter your semester or academic institution, at UnternehmerTUM Academy for Innovators you’re very welcome. Just form a team of 3-4 people (2 people are okay, but it is a lot of work for each)and apply.

  • The Business Plan Basic Seminar is accredited for 6 ECTS. But accreditation depends on the study program that you are in. You can check accreditation in your study tree or search for Business Plan - Basic Course in TUMonline. If you can’t find out, if the Business Plan Basic Seminar is accredited in your study program, send an email to Franziska Heyde (franziska@withallyourheart.today) telling her the name of your study program.

  • During the exam registration period your course organizer will tell you how to register for the course „exam“ with TUMonline. Only after you register for the exam will this course appear in TUMonline. ECTS are awarded after you complete the course and grades have been submitted.

  • Yes, you can! We offer this course in summer and winter semesters.

  • Absolutely! You get 6 months free access with an L membership and 2 free courses of the category A/B (e.g. 3D printing, laser cutting, woodwork for beginners, electronics, textile work).

  • You can apply either with a concrete business idea in mind or with a concrete problem field that you want to develop a business idea for.

  • Nope! You need to form a team of 3-4 students, including the team lead. Teams of 2 people, including the team lead, are okay, but it is a lot of work for each. You need to form a team before you can apply. Please check out the BPG guideline linked above for team finding options.

  • Yes, of course! But keep in mind that the business plan is only the last step of a long journey, and that we focus way more on hands-on and real-life experiences than theory.
